Baseball cards. Sounds simple enough, right? The national pastime and cardboard rolled into one. In the past, they were the ultimate symbol of youth culture.
Not so much nowadays, as baseball cards have fallen by the wayside with my generation today.
What I'm hoping to do with this blog is provide a new take on baseball cards, from cards of all generations. A take from someone who (unfortunately) didn't grow up in its heyday. A take from a college student who dsnt tipe lke tis whn tring 2 tlk.
What you see above is my collection. Separated by a hierarchy of sorts:
-Teams (alphabetically, although not perfectly)
-Positions (P, C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, OF, DH, Team/Manager cards)
-Players
-Number of cards
I don't put my cards in boxes and stow them away, because what fun is that? With a few exceptions, my collection is found in binders, binders, and more binders!
I think that's a good start. I'll be posting more periodically.
...phew! Thus ends my first ever blog post. For anyone reading this, my posts will get better, I promise.

I really like the binder take. That's the direction I've been going with. I don't like it either when cards seem to sit around in boxes. Thanks for the link. I think I've actually read this before, but still a great heads up!!

I like the binder approach, too, but I don't have space for it. Someday when I have more storage, I'll put more into binders. My question is: How do you organize new additions to the binders without having to rearrange and overhandle the cards?
