Into the Sunset

Rookie cards are overrated.

I've always thought a player's final cards should get just as much attention as their initial ones.

In this theme, I'll show a player's final issues from each card company. The final "tributes", if you will. I'll try and decide which company did the best job of sending the player "into the sunset".

Since most pre-1981 players didn't get multiple final cards, I'll sneak some of my favorites from that era into these posts from time to time. They deserve to be recognized, after all.

In this theme, I hope to honor the final issues of some of my favorite players, and all the ones that have yet to come.
