Let's take a look at the results of last week's frankenset page.
Win -- 2008 Upper Deck #484 Garrett Atkins (15 votes)
Place -- 1993 Topps #480 Pat Listach (11 votes)
Show -- 1994 Upper Deck #479 Don Slaught (7 votes)
Garrett Atkins under the lights held the lead for most of the week, taking the crown with fifteen of the 44 total votes.
The Atkins definitely features a magnificent image and was a worthy victor, but I myself voted for Mr. Listach, the runner-up. It's one of those cards that I can trace back to my childhood, and it had to be one of the first broken bat shots I ever saw.
Again, though, last week's winner was certainly no slouch.
Thankfully, we're back to a full page this week.
We have nine new nominees waiting to be introduced, so let's meet them.
1993 Donruss #487 John Marzano
A great play at the plate on the front, but I like the shot on the back a hundred times better.
2010 Topps #488 Delwyn Young
Double dipping with a Mark DeRosa cameo.
2013 Topps #489 Erick Aybar
Perfect bunting form.
1974 Topps #490 Vada Pinson
You can miss the great action shots in '74 Topps if you don't look closely.
1992 Upper Deck #491 Marvin Freeman
So much to autograph, so little time.
1971 Topps #492 Ken Boswell
A double dip from '71 Topps, likely taken during the same game as the Dal Maxvill from a couple pages ago.
1992 Bowman #493 Chris Martin
A contestant from the hideous '92 Bowman fashion show.
1992 Donruss #494 Kirt Manwaring
Another frankenset appearance from Mr. Manwaring, this time sporting some spectacular throwback duds.
1995 Stadium Club #495 Turner Ward
We close this week's page with a beautiful example of the oxymoronic "posed action" shot.
The polls are now on the sidebar.
Happy voting!

I predict that it will be a tight race this week. None of these are jumping out heads and shoulders above any other.
Kind of a bummer for Pinson that his card features a swing and a miss - the ball is visible in the catcher's mitt!
I think showing the back of the Marzano tips the scales in his favor.
My vote is for Marzano, a good man from Philly gone too soon.
Love that Ward!
There are two things I find important to point out:
1. Turner Ward is apparently catching a ball thrown from the stands onto the field. So, clearly, the tateriffic Jaime Navarro was pitching.
2. In the early 1990s, most of us knew that denim dress shirts with ties were bad ideas. When that card came out, I was 20, and I know I didn't own any denim dress shirts. Only some teenager with the same name as the lead singer of Coldplay would think that was an acceptable "dress-up" lok.
I think reverse homerun robbery Turner Ward is my favorite.
Oh my..that John Marzano card if it weren't enough being a great card on the front also the back is great!
I think I'm in love..
