Please Mr. Postman (A trade post) -- Never too random
It's happened again.
This afternoon, I found another package from William over at "Foul Bunt" waiting for me in the mailbox, the fourth package he's sent to me since I started this blog. (I've really got to find some more Orioles cards to send his way.)
I found a smattering of seemingly random cards inside which came from the dime box he puts out at his local show, according to the note William included with the package.
After reading that, I knew I was in for a treat.
One of the first cards I saw was this Bowman Heritage rookie of Fausto Carmona (or whatever his real name is). I've always had a soft spot for the '55 Bowman design.
Here's a card of Hall of Famer Bert Blyleven. (It feels good to be able to put "Hall of Famer" next to his name now.)
I'd like to see the Twins bring those '80s uniforms back for a game or two this year.
Here's a few outstanding additions to my "Cardboard Masterpieces" collection.
I'm guessing that the picture of Paul Molitor was taken sometime during the immediate aftermath of the Blue Jays' 1993 World Series victory.
The Konerko made me realize just how much I love cards of guys in the on-deck circle.
These were my favorites from the package. How could any card of Johnny Bench not be?
The throwback White Sox uniforms are among my favorite jerseys in the history of sports. It's neat seeing Carlton Fisk and current Sox manager Robin Ventura sporting them in the middle of the "new" Comiskey Park, which was then still under construction.
When it comes to baseball cards, randomness is a great thing.
Much thanks to William for another pile of fantastic pieces of cardboard!

Glad you liked the stuff man. I look forward to putting the packages together.
I love Blyleven in that shot. He either looks like he's in the middle of some PFP or he's quietly hunting a wascally wabbit.
