The dime box frankenset, Page 49: Numbers 433-441

Well, last week's frankenset voting was certainly a laugher.

Win -- 1998 Fleer Tradition #424 Jermaine Allensworth (18 votes)

Place -- 2013 Topps #430 Josh Harrison (5 votes)

Show -- 1982 Fleer #427 Willie Wilson (4 votes)

The Amazing Adventures of Jermaine Allensworth tore apart the rest of the competition, taking exactly half of the 36 total tallies. His 18 votes are a new single-week record, and they were thirteen more than his next closest challenger.

I wasn't as surprised as Allensworth looks on this card, but I did think the voting would be a bit closer than it was. This marks the unprecedented seventh straight week that I've agreed with the overall victor.

Maybe I'm not as random as I think.

I don't know how long this streak can go, but here's a look at this week's "(I Don't Care About) Super Bowl Sunday" frankenset page.

Let's meet the nominees.

1997 Ultra #433 Mariano Duncan

Staring down the bat barrel.

1995 Collector's Choice #434 Jose Rijo

Jose Rijo sporting some very John Lennon-esque glasses.

2012 Topps #435 Jeff Baker

Jeff Baker signing for one of Wrigley Field's many bushy-bearded patrons.

2011 Topps #436 Trevor Cahill

Flashing back to the days of the Swingin' A's.

1997 Upper Deck #437 Mariano Duncan

Double your Duncan pleasure with this sweet multiple-exposure shot, complete with a Jeets cameo.

1995 Score #438 Jay Bell

Spending some quality time with the family.

2012 Topps #439 Elvis Andrus

Elvis looks safe to me.

1973 Topps #440 Glenn Beckert

A serene scene at Wrigley.

1989 Upper Deck #441 Tim Foley

We close with a Dodger Stadium double dip from Upper Deck's inaugural year.

Who needs the Super Bowl when you have a frankenset page like this one?

The polls are now on the sidebar.

Happy voting!

Easy. The guy behind Baker bears an uncanny resemblance to a younger me (with contacts and a fake beard).

Voted Beckert and then immediately ordered that card on eBay. Thanks for posting it!

I'm a sucker for those multiple exposure cards from the '90's. Extra points for the DJ photobomb!
