I'm happy to report that 2012 Topps Heritage has hit the shelves of my local Target!
I purchased a blaster and a rack pack after I got back from school this afternoon. I'm not sure how much of this product I'm going to end up opening as I probably won't have the available funds to spring for a box, but this is a good start!
Now I know to go to Target on Tuesdays when a new product is out. I checked to see if they had 2012 Topps flagship on a Monday with no luck, then went back the next day to find they had them in stock. Same story with Heritage.
There's only five sets that I get excited for during the card season: Topps Series I, II, and Update, A&G, and Heritage, although hat might change with the 2012 Topps Archives set.
I'm going to be needing a ton of base and inserts from this set, so hopefully I can make some Heritage-for-Heritage swaps with my fellow bloggers in the coming weeks.
Also, if anyone out there pulls a Casey Kotchman SP, let me know. I really, really want that card. (If I don't pull it from my packs.)
I'll post what I pull later this evening, as I have a 3:00 class today. (I can already see a Jeter base card through the rack pack wrapper.)
Hopefully the card gods are on my side today.

I don't expect there to be any Heritage on my store shelves until the middle of next week. If I get lucky it'll be the end of the week.
I'm not collecting the set -- but it's always good for a few packs. In a weak moment, a blaster.

hey nick - i'll run some swaps for you, if you'd like. i bought a pack today (the same one you did - 16 cards) and i have 2 boxes on order, so i should have some things to trade! just keep me posted on what you are looking for...
