Please Mr. Postman (A trade post) -- Minis as far as the eye can see
Wow.
That's a lot of minis.
I am happy to report that I have completed my second trade with Ted over at "Crinkly Wrappers".
Ted recently made a post saying he had a bunch of minis to send to anyone who wanted them. I thought, "I like minis. Plus, that box would be so much fun to go through." So I sent Ted a mix of mostly HOFer cards for the box o' minis.
The first thing I saw once I arrived home from school today was a gigantic white box sitting in the mailbox. I knew it could only be one thing.
The minis had arrived.
I dumped them out on my living room table after opening the box. (You can see the stacks of card show finds at the top of this picture.)
I'd guess that there were about 300 minis or so in the box. Topps 206, A&G, Goodwin Champions, you name it. Everything.
I needed a good portion of the minis Ted sent me, but I now also have some cards to set aside for fellow team bloggers for future trades.
After all, who doesn't like minis?
Here's some of my favorites from the package:
These are a couple of the 2010 Topps minis that were only found in Target and/or Wal-Mart packs.
Any new Lincecum cards are always welcome in my collection.
While I'm on the topic, I'm jealous of Ted for finding a 2010 Topps Jimmie Foxx SP in a dime box at his card show on Saturday.
Some 2009 and 2010 Topps 206 minis.
Ted had it all when it came to the Topps 206 cards. Almost half the minis came from the set. Piedmont, American Caramel, Old Mill, even a Cycle mini.
All types of minis were accounted for.
It's time for everyone's favorite, A&G!
I was excited to find a nice stack of 2011 A&G minis in the box from Ted. I didn't buy many packs of last year's product, so I didn't get a chance to acquire many of the minis from the set.
Now I've got more than a fair share.
Gypsy Queen, Obak, the minis just keep on coming.
Lastly, we've got some minis from 2009 Goodwin Champions and some 2011 A&G mini inserts.
These are my first three cards from the "Step Right Up" insert set. I'm thinking about going after the rest of them after acquiring these. I spent so much time trying to complete the "Minds That Made the Future" insert set that I kind of forgot about these.
Looks like I've got a lot of sorting to do this evening.
Much thanks to Ted from "Crinkly Wrappers" for all the awesome minis!

Glad you enjoyed them and they made the trip quickly. I shipped them on Saturday morning. The Heritage Dempster was a last minute addition but I wasn't sure if you had already picked his card up.
Nope, I did still need the Dempster you added in as well, I hadn't had a chance to pick that one up until you sent it to me. Thanks for the great cards, Ted!
I love mini cards. Especially that Lester A&G hint, hint...
