Frankenset Page #71 WINNER -- 1987 Fleer #632 Bob Horner (12 votes)
Sometimes I don't really notice things about a card until I post it on the blog.
This classic Horner made it into the frankenset because of the four-homer day depicted on the front of it. Before last week, however, I'd never quite realized how low-rent it is until a few readers pointed it out. It really does look like Fleer threw poor Bob Horner out of bed at 5 AM, stuffed a bat and a few baseballs into his lap, and snapped this picture.
Whether it's because of the feat or the photo, Horner easily won last week's page, taking 12 of the total 34 votes to earn a rightful place in the Gallery of Frankenset Champions.
We're now down to the last five pages of the frankenset binder: and as per the Random Number Generator, Page 12 (#s 100-108) is one of the remaining groups up for grabs this week.
Let's meet the nominees.
2015 Stadium Club #100 Alex Cobb
Faux-back hero number!
2015 Topps Update #US101 Jumbo Diaz
Not sure what I like more: the name or the photograph.
1991 Stadium Club #102 Ron Karkovice
The throwback that started them all.
1992 Topps #103 Ricky Jordan
Get back.
2017 Stadium Club #104 Ryon Healy
I feel like there's a meme in here somewhere.
2015 Topps Update #US105 Brandon Moss
Yay claustrophobia!
1967 Topps #106 Randy Hundley
Serendipity: I bought this one at least week's card show (and posted it on the blog only yesterday), just in time for it to appear in the frankenset here tonight.
2018 Stadium Club #107 Keon Broxton
I've been to Miller Park, and I can say this card does the place appropriate justice.
1993 Topps #108 Jose Lind
Another brilliant appearance from perennial frankensetter Jose Lind.
That's it for this week's page. The polls are now on the sidebar.
Happy voting!

I will be adding that Ryon Healy card to my folder of fun. (And yes, I'm voting for it, too.)
Another tough choice..Healy is the one I'm leaning towards...
Another great thing about the Diaz. 12 years worth of minor league stats on the back.
Healy is an easy choice here - such a perfectly timed shot. But what is in his hands?
I think Horner looked like that in every picture.
Looks like Healy is walking away with this one. If someone else wins, it'll be the comeback of the year.
Hmm. I might go with the vintage Randy Hundley.
The meme for your Ryon Healy card probably looks something like this:
