We had another tight race last week.
Win -- 1995 Topps #110 Walt Weiss (5 votes)
Place (tie) -- 1993 Upper Deck #111 Brady Anderson, 2015 Topps Update #US-115 Stephen Vogt, 1993 Upper Deck #117 Lance Parrish (4 votes each)
Show (tie) -- 1999 Stadium Club #112 Chan Ho Park, 1983 Fleer #116 Dennis Leonard (3 votes each)
These might be the most spread-out results I can remember, because it usually takes more than five votes to take a frankenset crown. We very nearly had a four-way tie for first before a late tally pushed the double-dipping Walt Weiss over the top.
I personally had my hat in the Lance Parrish ring, but I don't have any real qualms about the winner here.
We're back with a fresh page of nine new hopefuls.
I have a feeling it'll be another close one this week, so, without further ado, let's meet the nominees.
1998 Fleer Tradition #118 Rico Brogna
A nod to the Negro League's Philadelphia Stars.
1990 Upper Deck #119 Brett Butler
Eagerly awaiting the results at first (with a Roberto Alomar cameo).
2016 Topps #120 Alcides Escobar WS
One of the more exciting World Series moments of my lifetime.
1998 Fleer Tradition #121 Jay Bell
Family matters at the ballpark.
1994 Upper Deck #122 Jose Vizcaino
Sending an infielder head-over-heels.
2016 Topps Opening Day #OD-123 Johnny Giavotella
Postgame Gatorade showers are quickly becoming a fixture on cards these days, and I'm completely fine with that.
1994 Upper Deck #124 Eduardo Perez
Don't think he much agreed with that call.
1978 Topps #125 George Scott
All smiles by the batting cage.
1991 Studio #126 Jeff Kunkel
We close with some serious bubble trouble in Studio form.
