The dime box frankenset, Page 15: Numbers 127-135

Let's take a look at how last week's voting played out.

Win -- 1978 Topps #125 George Scott (7 votes)

Place -- 1994 Upper Deck #124 Eduardo Perez (5 votes)

Show -- 1991 Studio #126 Jeff Kunkel (4 votes)

Last week's votes were, once again, pretty well spread out (mine went to the Brett Butler double dip), though a late surge pushed Boomer Scott over the top. His seven tallies out of the 28 total were enough to take the crown.

Today's cards can have their Gatorade baths and action photos, but sometimes good old vintage just can't be topped.

This week's page is probably one of my all-around personal favorites in my frankenset binder.

Let's meet the next nine nominees.

1999 Stadium Club #127 Brady Anderson

Brady Anderson stomps across home plate to score the game-winning run in a September 12, 1998 contest against the Angels.

1992 Upper Deck Minors #128 Eric Christopherson

Behind the board for a minor league jam session.

2001 Stadium Club #129 Mark Johnson

Safe or out?

2013 Topps Opening Day #130 Chase Headley

Throwing it back to the McDonald's era in San Diego.

1999 Upper Deck #131 Scott Karl

A baseball card of a guy signing a baseball card, or as I call it: Cardboard Inception.

1994 Topps #132 Bret Barberie

People always give '95 Fleer crap, but Topps got up to some strange things in the mid '90s, too.

1973 Topps #133 Dave Roberts

Bask in the glory of '70s Padres jerseys (also, extra points for matching yellows with the Rookie Cup).

1996 Topps #134 Chris Gomez

Double dipping with what I'm pretty sure is a Robin Ventura cameo.

1993 Ted Williams #135 Jim Gilliam BB

We close with perhaps one of the better action shots ever featured on a baseball card.

The polls are now on the sidebar.

Happy voting!

I'm usually a sucker for cards like Scott Karl's that feature other cards, but I can't NOT vote for that awesome 1973 Dave Roberts.
