Independence

O say, can you see

By the dawn's early light

What so proudly we hailed

At the twilight's last gleaming

Whose broad stripes and bright stars

Through the perilous fight

O'er the ramparts we watched

Were so gallantly streaming

And the rockets' red glare

The bombs bursting in air

Gave proof through the night

That our flag was still there

O say does that star-spangled

Banner yet wave

O'er the land of the free

And the home of the brave

(All cards brought to you courtesy of my "anthemic" mini-collection.)

Happy 238th birthday, America!

Have a safe and happy Independence Day, everyone!

Excellent.

Love the grand finale. I've always dug that card. Can still remember how excited I was (11 years old) to see my first full season as a fan resume with Fernando on the hill for the NL Stars.

Also, gotta mention that Thornton card, with him posing in the studio in anthemic fashion. That's the great thing about mini collections, there are always going to be oddball additions.

Great mini collection! I'm impressed by how many you have. I've only come up with 4 so far as I've started sorting through my cards for my mini collections.

Happy 4th of July.
I think I only have the Ripken Jr. card. Those are rare cards to get.
Here we're going for 900 years ;)
