As expected, the king of this region -- Luis Alvarado -- punched a ticket to the Sweet 16 without much of a fight. I'm disappointed to see the bat boy/Aurelio Rodriguez switcheroo out of the tournament, but then again, Ellis Valentine is no slouch either.
And yes, we have another tie on our hands between Bailey and Flannery. As in the past, I ask the first three people who care to comment on this post to leave their choice between the two cards. The one that receives two of those three tie-breaking votes will move on to the Sweet 16. I'll update this post once we have a winner.
