Voting, for whatever reason, took a big hit last week with quite a few less votes being cast than the week prior, though that didn't stop it from being an exciting round. We had two fairly large upsets with Valentine and Rodriguez, and I was particularly excited to see the Rodriguez advance since it's one of my absolute favorite cards in this frankenset.

How it only mustered a #12 seed is beyond me.

Let's see if we can get those vote totals back up for this week's share of frankenset action, the fourth and final round in the Field of 64.

I think I was one of those who usually votes, but missed last week's. I was busy with work and had some jet lag, and I missed the post. Nothing to do with last week's entries or anything.

I must say, as the voting unfolds, that my tastes don't seem to fit with a lot of other voters. I guess I'm just old, and get those kids off my lawn, because I don't want my baseball cards to have surfboards on them, or to show a player pretending his bat is a telescope or a teddy bear. I just want, you know, baseball cards, with pictures of baseball players on them. You can probably figure out most of my votes from that. The Garr, the Moon, the Diaz, the Palmer...those are some fine pieces of cardboard there!

I can never NOT think of "DB Cooper" whenever I see that 1970 Lowell Palmer card. Lol. That 1973 Frank Duffy is a sweet card. I've never seen it before. Thanks for sharing.
