The dime box frankenset, Page 12: Numbers 100-108

There wasn't a whole lot of drama in last week's frankenset page.

Win -- 1995 Upper Deck Minors #91 Roger Bailey (17 votes)

Place -- 1973 Topps #97 Willie Montanez (3 votes)

Show (tie) -- 1999 Stadium Club #95 Ray Lankford, 1994 Upper Deck #98 Kent Hrbek (2 votes each)

I don't think it's a stretch to say that last week's winner is one of the greatest minor league cards ever made. The fun-loving Roger Bailey demolished the competition, taking 17 of the 27 total votes (including mine) and collecting 14 more tallies than his next closest rival.

A well-deserved victory.

We're back this week with a fresh crop of nine new hopefuls.

Let's meet the nominees.

2015 Stadium Club #100 Alex Cobb

A look at some sweet '70s faux-backs with the first "hero number" in this frankenset.

1991 Score #101 Kirt Manwaring

The captions for this card are infinite (and don't sleep on the Mark Grace cameo).

1999 Stadium Club #102 Charles Johnson

A play at the plate at Wrigley.

1994 Pinnacle #103 Jerald Clark

The third straight card to feature subliminal Cubs advertising.

1995 SP #104 Ray Lankford

Gymnastics in the batter's box.

1998 Ultra #105 Pat Hentgen

AL pitcher at the plate!

1995 Collector's Choice #106 Paul Leftwich

A great example of why I will forever love Collector's Choice.

1991 Stadium Club #107 Rafael Ramirez

Another Wrigley appearance, this time of the elegant double dip variety.

1996 Score #108 Mike Macfarlane

We close this week's page with a dust-filled and just generally heroic play at the plate.

The polls are now on the sidebar.

Happy voting!

I have long been a fan of that Manwaring card. That gets my vote.

I made sure that the Blue Jays were represented.

Glad you're back blogging Nick!

Tough to choose between those play at the plate cards. Almost went Manwaring, but went MacFarlane. Great shot.

I'm a huge fan of the Lankford card. So different...

I pick the Clark due to the 90's ass sweatshirt on the top right (the guy's face is hidden behind the Pinnacle logo).
