When I was a kid I used to do that type of stuff for scrapbooks, before the modern "scrapbooking" craze. Back in the late 60s early 70s any notebook or binder could become a "scrapbook". I used to cut out team logos and caps from baseball cards, or cut the All-Star picture from the 1970Topps card and try to cut the star out along the lines straight. I don't recall exact cards or how many times I did it. I don't think I did it too often, I also seem to recall that my oldest brother did the same sort of thing, which was why I did it. When you have two older brothers and you are about 5 or 6 you tend to copy what they do. Sadly I would toss out the remains of the poor card that was scavenged from and then sometime in the mid 70s probably got rid of whatever scrapbook pages I had.CaptKirk42https://www.blogger.com/profile/16039278539984069944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5342310663064800554.post-81098093786541121642014-07-12T17:35:04.615-05:002014-07-12T17:35:04.615-05:00Somebody really wanted the Cubs' logoSomebody really wanted the Cubs' logoJeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06896780361855961353noreply@blogger.com
